The staff were welcoming, and the room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the relaxing garden area, perfect for unwinding after exploring nearby landmarks like South Beach and Kilwinning Abbey. While breakfast had its miss, the convenience of the location made our family trip nice, and I appreciate the effort of the lovely staff.

This place was perfect for us, totally recommend. We had a very very good stay in this comfy hotel. The location of the venue was comfortable and ideal, to Lynn falls. It was also just next door to the red squirrel pub as well as resteraunt. The king room was good-sized and warm on breakfast when she was working by herself, so that guests had essentials.

the hotel was clean and comfortable, and the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. the carvery dinner was very satisfying, with an array of delicious meat options, and the breakfast was a standout with great quality. i appreciated the lovely garden view from the dining area, which added to the relaxing atmosphere during my meals.

My experience was somewhat marred by poor sound insulation. I could hear people arriving and the commotion from above, making it difficult to sleep.

It has an ideal location close to restaurant and ferry. The units are modern, fine.

Excellent hotel with free parking, 24-hour reception, and a cozy bar area. The staff helped me with heavy baggage on my first stay, and breakfast was always enjoyable. Highly recommend it for a relaxing stay! Coming back for Christmas.

Room 204 had prominent mattress springs leading to restless nights, compounded by faulty ceiling lights that left the room too dark. The TV remote struggled with a low battery, rendering it unusable. Temperature control was inconsistent, as the heating system failed to adequately warm the room during frosty weather, leaving the bedding insufficient for comfort.

I recently stayed for two nights at Red Squirrel while on a short getaway. The check-in process was efficient, and my room was spotlessly clean and inviting. The onsite restaurant offered fantastic meals at reasonable prices, with breakfast being a good start to the day. The staff went above and beyond, especially David, who provided really good service with his friendly demeanor. the experience was enjoyable, and I appreciated the well-maintained facilities and welcoming atmosphere.

Perfect for family stays!

We spent a night in a family room. It was clean, had air con, and a big TV, a hit for the kids! Staff were super friendly and helpful. The onsite restaurant had decent carvery options at good prices, too. The only issue was the tight parking, especially when busy.

would like to go back there again

The room was really clean and spacious with a comfy bed, tv, and a nice seating area. Enjoyed having free toiletries like body soap and shampoo. A kettle for tea. The bathroom had a walk-in shower and heated elements , made it cozy. The check-in was smooth and they had tasty breakfast options like fresh juice and croissants.
